Edge has promised to release ten most promising Wii titles of 2009. Wii has been suffering from an identity crisis following Nintendo’s E3 no-show. Keeping the sales figure aside, 2008 was a weak year for the console’s software catalogue. The result of this is that publishing companies and their PR teams avail the opportunity to push core gamer content on to the console.

In the list, only the super confirmed 2009 releases are included so this might change over time. The ten titles which have made the list are Wii Sports Resort, The Conduit, Deadly Creatures, House of the Dead: Overkill, Monster Hunter 2 (tri-), Fatal Frame IV, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Sin and Punishment 2, Punch Out!!, MadWorld.
