You may find all games on Animal Crossing challenging and interesting. But you may also have to manage certain other features that are attached to the games. This includes an unmanageable and burdensome user interface. Besides this, the user can only select a tool and item by opening a separate menu interface. Moreover, omitting any of the game’s dialogues is prohibited. The users also have to face the painful and irritating on-screen keyboard for writing letters or text, which can be a put-off for many.
As stated by JC’s hands-on impressions of Animal Crossing: City Folk, Nintendo have been successful in solving the first problem, which allows the users to cycle through their inventory with the d-pad. Animal Crossing: City Folk is the first Wii game to take the advantage of WiiSpeak. Nintendo has also emerged out as a winner in solving the third problem, which allows the users to fasten a USB keyboard up to their Wiis. Nintendo is always keen to maintain its standards set up right from game designing to controller layout. City Folk is scheduled to be introduced on 18th November 2008 in North America and will be releasing worldwide by the end of the year.
