According to Joystiq, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is a lot like GH3. However, it has better animation with characters looking more real and life like and resembling the live people they are imitating. Some rockers have been unlocked. In this game, you also get a story mode, where you can track the lives of the rockers and how they made it big.

There are many songs available in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith that are ready to play. Some songs from other popular bands have also been made available. However, overall, the game resembles GH3 a lot, hence the déjà vu.
