Lets take a minute to acknowledge all the awesome Wii games of 2007 and will carry on in 2008. The best games and user reviews are as follows
- Super Mario Galaxy
- Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
- Super Smash Bro. Brawl
- Endless Ocean
-Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
-The Legend of Zelda:Twilight
-Metroid Prime 3:Corruption
-Medal of Honer Heroes 2
-Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
-Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
-Resident Evil: the Umbrella Chronicles
The list goes on and on but these are some of the favorites from time again. My Favorite would have to be Super Mario Galaxy. Going under all those horrific yet challenging courses. Having such great pictures and it's like 3D going under. It's awesome and I would most recommend it to all the Wii fans. Its a great present too for a loved one or a friend.
Alright, so I'm not so sure that volleyball players say it like that, but for all you volleyball fans out there now you can play volleyball Wii. Its a great game for beginners who want to get into real volleyball because you can learn the official names and just the rules for the game.
This game you can play with multiple players to really get the live competition going. Theres training and practice modes and all that great stuff. There's mens and women's competition so you can pick whether your either sex or you can play cross dressing. Its whatever that floats your boat. haha I'm jk about that last comment. Check it out and I'm sure you'll appreciate it.
People love the Nintendo Wii, but what they don't know is that the Wii is being used by all sorts of ways. One way is to give the elderly at retirement homes a way to exercise. Some are even holding large tournaments for Wii bowling. Another use has been for soldiers to deal with combat wounds.
A Canadian researcher is finding that video games have been a great aid to people with chronic pain. Nintendo Wii does a good job of immersing you in the game so you forget about many things that bother you. It's already being used as a physical therapy machine so treating chronic pain fits right in.
The Nintendo Wii is super hot right now and you can't find it anywhere. The prices on eBay have been well above retail prices. This has given retailers the clever idea of increasing the prices on their Nintendo Wii stock as well as forcing customers to buy bundles instead.
Many customers don't like this because usually the bundle includes games and accessories they weren't going to buy. Nintendo has actually come out and said they do not like this practice because people don't realize that the Nintendo Wii is actually much cheaper than the bundle makes it seem.
Lets see if Nintendo cracks down soon on these retailers (cough GameStop, Walmart)
It turns out that the BBFC is taking steps to letting Manhunt 2 be released in the UK. As you recall earlier, Manhunt 2 was facing extremely negative publicity in the media due to the extreme violence. Rockstar, the makers of the game, decided to edit the game to comply. The ESRB, America's version of BBFC, finally decided to give it a Mature rating which lets only 18+ people buy it.
The BBFC now only has 3 votes against letting it get a rating instead of 4 votes. This is one step close, but there are still strong appeals being made in the High Court. A spokesperson from the BBFC said they won't make a decision until they see a full printed judgment on the video game. There sure a lot of drama over this Manhunt 2 game which isn't even supposed to be that great.
Here's some interesting news. Analysts believe the Nintendo Wii will hold its reign until 2011. Then the PS3 will overtake it in a glorious sprint that starts in 2008. This is an interesting prediction from some financial analysts but can it be really true?
All we really know is that these analysts were probably wrong 2 years ago and they will probably be wrong again. The only thing we do know for certain is that the Nintendo Wii is kicking ass right now. The PS3 and the Xbox 360 can't even come close to that.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Nintendo Wii kept its pace throughout 2008.
The Nintendo Wii has finally come out in Japan and will be soon released in the United States. It's been a huge hit in Japan witnessed by the past few days as well as over 300,000 pre orders. People are waiting in line to buy Wii Fit as well as find a Nintendo Wii in Stock. When it finally comes out in the US, all it can really mean is that there will be less Nintendo Wii in Stock than ever before.
The Nintendo Wii is known widely for its intuitive approach to game control. For example, Wii Sports lets you feel like you are actually playing the sport by letting you swing your arms widely. Sometimes too widely as it breaks televisions and puts holes into walls.
Nintendo Wii has expanded the console as a fitness machine with the Wii Fit. Instead of just swinging your arms widely, you will also be using your feet to get a full workout. The beautiful part about the Nintendo Wii is that your mind is completely taken off the act of exercising itself which makes you push your body harder than ever before.
All we know is that Wii Fit is a huge hit in Japan and will be a huge hit in the US. This means we will see even more people start looking for Nintendo Wii in stock. This means many people won't be able to find the Nintendo Wii in stock for months into 2008. Let's see what happens, but Nintendo sure must have a big smile of their face. It's about time.
The Nintendo Wii is getting more and more popular everyday and its causing many people to take it to the next level. No... I'm not talking about them going through some Tony Robbins transformation. I'm talking about people making unique contraptions for their Wii Remote.
The Wii Remote is an interesting device because it already is a gun, a sword, and much more thanks to the motion sensitive technology. This means Nintendo can make simple contraptions like the Wii Zapper which is nothing more than a plastic piece holding the Wii remote and Wii nunchuk.
People are getting even more creative by using even Legos to build their whole controllers. Check out the picture and you have to wonder what the potential is!
