The Wii title Lost Winds developed by Frontier Developments was in the limelight in U.S., Europe and Australia. It has now been scheduled to be released in December for 1,000 Wii points in Japan by the Japanese Wii owners. Square Enix has come forward to take the rights of publishing this game for Japan.

Square Enix’s early Wii release was Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King. Lost Winds will be its second WiiWare release which was published by Frontier Developments in other regions. The game will also be the first Square Enix WiiWare release from an external developer. It is really prestigious for Wii if such a big publisher has showed interest and confidence in their games.

Milestone’s Ultimate Shooting Collection is a localized version and is in spite of being a Japanese box, it is in demand. The game was earlier scheduled to release on November 11th but it will take some more time to come. The game has been translated in English and the logo by Milestone rather than by O3, otherwise UFO would have to deal with O3 to publish their material. Gamestop showed some new boxart to promote the game and it is less identical to the Japanese look.

The delay in releasing the game was confirmed by the UFO publisher and the new date release date is December 15th which falls right in the middle of Christmas.

EA’s Facebreaker had a rough go of it in its first month on sale in the U.S. The NPD Group has confirmed that EA's Facebreaker sold just 52,000 units in September across the Xbox 360 and PS3 combined. A Wii version called Facebreaker K.O.Party is expected to launch in this November. It is EA’s last hope that the game would sell out.
This game is expected to perform better than its Xbox and PS3 cousins but nothing san be said till it is released.

Facebreaker K.O. Party looked like a bit crazy and it’s about to get crazier-reality-shows, leopard skin and what not. In at least one of the versions Kardazian will also appear as a playable character. So, we have to keep waiting for the show to come up and see the reviews.

Back in October, Nintendo had announced to introduce an independent Channel for the WiiSpeak peripheral and had planned to release it in Japan on November 20 and Nintendo of North America had planned to release it on November 16. It will be a free download with Wii. However, it looks like Wii Speak Channel would not be launching alongside Animal Crossing: City Folk on November 16. This Channel allows sending of voice messages and chat and it works up to four groups with each participant in each group represented by Mii.

This WiiSpeak is a microphone which can be placed on top of the TV so everyone can share in voice chat as they play Animal Crossing but then IGN has come up with a disclaimer that that the Channel will actually appear in December, the date has not been specified yet. However, we know that the Channel will be available in Europe from December 5th, till then we probably have to cope with that!

EA has some good projects coming up like Skate it, which deals in making a skating career, Rock Band2, which gives twenty free downloadable songs and a horror game using Unreal Engine3 technology. Among these three games in the list, the second one is being counted on more as it could be of more profit.

EA is currently facing losses as they have gone down during the Q2 of this year which has forced the company to cut some jobs. The loss apparently has been nearly $310 million during the Q2. The market is cautious for the short term as the retail market was down in October. However, for the long term the game sector and EA in particular is counted upon.

The Canadian developer who had developed the Super Mario Strikers, the game on soccer is now working on a high-profile game which is a Wii update to the classic Punch-Out series. This game is something called the Jungle Speed and is likely a Wii version of a card game with the same name. Jungle Speed is a racing game where the players must get rid of their cards while racing to grab a wooden totem. The official publisher of this game is Playful Entertainment which has extensive plans for WiiWare. It has a number of unannounced titles for Wii and is ready for publishing them.

This game also has a good rating on the American Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). Sega consoles are coming up with awesome games like Mercs, Enduro Racer and M.U.S.H.A which have further been rated on ESRB. So, we have to wait for these games to arrive and enjoy the fun playing with them.

The Nintendo’s Wii was hard to find in the market but now scene has totally changed. Nintendo’s President Reggie Fils- Aime told The LA times that Company is now producing 2.4 million units’ hardware in a month. The production has been increased by 33 percent.
