We all tend to wait for price cuts on each and every electronic item. But I guess you should wait for a longer duration for the Wii. The duration is until 2009. WE all know that money is pouring in for Nintendo. The company is expecting to earn around $5.14 billion.

In a recent statement, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata disclosed to analysts that there will be no price cut for the Wii or DS this year. He said that as “why should we cut the price if both the consoles are doing well everywhere?” Now if you are hardcore Wii lover, just go buy it without waiting for the price cut.

After a very long time I am going to refresh you favourite old game, the Beautiful Katamari. After the game was out on Xbox 360, it was believed that it would never match Nintendo's console. You all must be surprised that the game is still available on selected retailers' online shops.

The game is also available in Target and Wal-Mart stores, but some of them like Buy.com have listed the game with the same price ($29.99) but is showcasing that the game is "temporarily sold out." As per Wal-Mart page, that on August 29th the game will be released.

Guys! Here is the review of the Baroque! The game is quite wonderful to play. But I guess if you are a new game player, you will get bugged up for the initial half hour just to understand what exactly the game is. But as I mentioned you will enjoy playing the game.

The game has good sound effects. Now as we reviewed the game with other regular gamers, they felt that if anybody doesn’t have patience to get to the climax of the game, then they might just abort the game and miss out the real experience. Also they felt to playing to new games becomes quite interesting if the start is poor or slow but catches the momentum as long the as the game improves.

Hey guys! Some great news for you all! There is a bug buzz going on. New games are going to be launched. Midway’s Blitz: The league 2, the next level to their first football game will be launched along with other three games. Midway has announced one more sequel of Game Party.

Actually nobody has any kind of information about the games. But the grapevine suggests that the games are going to b released at E3. It’s up to you all. Expect the same this time also….an average game with high commercial price tag!

VC Europe 04/15/2008

Another batch of old-school retrogame awesomeness has landed over at the PAL Virtual Console.  Europe's VC is getting not only two Commodore 64 titles, but two Sega Master System games as well.  The Master System releases will also be available to our Australian counterparts.

From the Master System comes the side-scrolling goodness of Wonder Boy, joined by Fantasy Zone.  The C64 offerings are the classics California Games and Impossible Mission.  All of the titles run for 500 Wii Points.  Let's just keep our fingers crossed for the arrival of these games on our virtual shores.

Originally released for the Game Boy Color, Toki Tori was yet another one of those cool games made obsolete by the release of the next system.  The Game Boy Advance hit the scene, and the new GBC game was quickly forgotten in favor of titles for the next generation system.  Well, on May 12th, gamers get a chance to do right by the little chick.

Toki Tori's getting a makeover for its May 12th release on WiiWare.  The game is a clever puzzle title based on the idea of Toki Tori, freshly hatched, saving his siblings that have yet to hatch.  It will be one of the inaugural games launching the download service, so here's to the success of Toki Tori and WiiWare.

How excited are you for the arrival of Wii Fit?  With an unprecedented marketing campaign, Nintendo's betting hard that you can barely contain yourselves.  The video game industry's fortune teller, Michael Pachter, seems to agree.

Pachter is predicting that between 3 and 4 million Americans will be running out this year to get their copy of Wii Fit.  With a release in May, that would give the title less than 8 months to meet such a tall sales order.  On top of it all, the Wii Fit package is expected to set buyers back $89.99.  If there was a release this year that has the buzz to do this, it's this one.

Good news for UK Wii gamers who can't stand dealing with the wire between the Wiimote and the nunchuk getting in the way of their fun.  Zappies is coming out with a wireless peripheral that takes the cord out of the equation.  It's similar to Nyko's wireless kit, except it's cheaper and is already in stores.

As opposed to Nyko's UK release of their device on May 25th, the Zappies kit is a British-only release that is available for purchase today.  The Zappies kit also runs for about 20 pounds, compared to 25 pounds for the Nyko setup.  It's a simple addition and gives the user around 20 hours of battery life, so if you're in the UK you might want to check it out.

Good news.  Gameloft Japan's coming out with their first title to launch via WiiWare.  The game's called Block Breaker Deluxe and in April will be available in Japan.  American and European versions will be released at a later date.  Oh, and the game's $8.

Bad news?  This Arkanoid replica features female mascots that are supposed to be eye candy, but are just a little creepy, to say the least.  The worst part of the whole deal is that while the game is a ripoff of Arkanoid, it's a remake of a cell phone game, which just strikes us as a real no-no when it comes to putting out your inaugural game on a new console.

Short version: Rockstar develops Manhunt 2.  BBFC says no, then says yes under appeal.  Everyone starts screaming on both sides of the argument.  All wait breathlessly for psychologist Dr. Tanya Byron to release her report on what she thinks should be done about the whole mess.

According to Dr. Byron, adult content should not be banned from video games, but there should be a proper system in place to keep such games in the hands of actual adults.  She has also been concerned that her report is being misused to further the agendas of others.  Byron has made it very clear that she is against banning games or restricting the rights of gamers.
